Lorraine Callaghan studied Music at U.C.D. and was awarded a B.A. while simultaneously completing her studies in voice, piano and violin at the Royal College of Music. She has performed as a classical and jazz singer in shows and musicals and has appeared on t.v. many times including The Late Late Show with her Bossa Nova Band following the release of her acclaimed album "Fly Me to Brazil". Lorraine has toured extensively and performed at festivals at home and abroad. While living in Italy she wrote songs with composer Nico Carfagnini and performed at many prestigious festivals including the Lunatica festival in Tuscany and the Springtime Jazz festival in Massa/Carrara. A highlight was singing Puccini's Messa di Gloria (Mass of Glory) with world renowned conductor Alberto Veronesi in Torre del Lago.
Lorraine has a great grá for spiritual music and believes it can bring solace in our darkest hour.
